Their Apologies

I’m not the only one who screws up. From the Sunday New York Times:

An article last Sunday about lessons a correspondent learned while reporting on the war in Iraq offered an incorrect contrast to the difficulties Iraqis face when crossing from Kurdish Iraq into their country’s Arab southern provinces. A comparison that illustrates the ease of traversing a state border in the United States would be a crossing from Michigan into Indiana — not into Illinois, with which Michigan does not share a land border.
