giant lobelia?

Don't think it could be a giant anything. It's a close-up shot; the whole area shown in the picture is probably an inch long. The plant itself is probably three or four inches high.

On further investigation, I think it might be a flower called Jacob's Ladder. Or not.

That sounds more likely than my guess, Brittanicals, which was miniature wild hollyhocks.
